Hi netters,
I need a high fidelity thermostable polymerase.
According to the literature, Pfu (Stratagene) is approx. 10-fold more
accurate than Taq (e.g. Flaman et al. 1994, Nucl. Acids Res. 22:3259).
According to the info of Boehringer, Pwo also beats Taq 10 to 1, but I have
seen no data on this from independent labs.
Anybody any suggestions/experiences with these (and other) proofreading
enzymes?
Best regards, Nico van Belzen
