DNA Reading Frame Prediction

   I am in need of a method of predicting the reading frames within a
genome. I am aware that DNA Strider, software for the macintosh, is
available but I do not have the funds to use this.  Can anyone recommend
any other methods to do this?  I am hoping to isolate the promoter region
as well as the terminus.  Please send your replies to:
