Promega sells lambda gt11 cloning kit as well as the strain Y1089.

Y1089 (1):
The strain Y1089 is used primarily for the generation of preparative
amounts of fusion protein (see
Section VIII). This is possible because of a mutation which enhances the
frequency of phage
lysogeny (hflA150) and the deltalon mutation which decreases protease
activity. Like Y1090, this
strain also contains pMC9 (described above).
Genotype: F´, delta(lacU169), proA+, delta(lon), araD139, strA, hflA150,
[chr:Tn10(tetr)],
(pMC9).
