Peptide biotinylation

Michael,

	Is there any particular reason why you whish to link the C terminus
in particular? Biotinylation is normally done using NHS esters which will
cross-link to any free amino group.  Why not link your peptide directly to
beads that are either cyanogen bromide activated (Available from Pharmacia) or
possess an NHS group.  The methods for both these are very simple and will
circumvent the problem of separating free from bound biotin. 

	Methods for coupling ligands to these supports will usually be 
supplied by the manufacturer. However, if you need protocols then let me
know.
