antibody affinity purification

To purify general polyclonal IgGs from rabbit serum, use an immobilized protein A column.  It 
has as good or better binding than protein G or A/G and they are cheaper.  If your purifying 
monoclonals by using its antigen, then immobilize that antigen on an oxidised agarose matrix and 
then pass the serum through.
