Northern Analysis using Digoxigenin

I've tried performing Northerns using cRNA probes labeled with Digoxigenin.
I transferred by RNA onto Hybond-N nylon membranes after which I 
X-link using UV at 70000uJ/cm2 for 10 min.  The trouble I encounter is 
that I keep picking up the 28S and 18S bands and usually these are the 
only two bands that light up.
Has anyone had the same experience?  Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
