total RNA isolation for RT-PCR

I have tissue samples stored in approx. 1-1.5ml 5M GTC  at -80oC (no 2-ME or 
SDS).  Is there a prefered method for subsequent extraction of total RNA 
from very little tissue (approx. 1-5mg)?
