Dear netters,
Could anyone help this senior high school student?
Subject: grinding medium
hello,
I am making a grinding medium for the isolation of chloroplasts based
on the reference, Cell Culture and Somatic Cell Genetics in
Plants, volume 1, edited by Indra K. Vasil, chapter 54. This medium
contains sorbitol, magnesium chloride, pyrophosphate and isoascorbic
acid. After the medium was pH adjusted to 6.5, the isoascorbic acid?
dropped out of solution and I have been unable to redissolve the
precipitate. Does anyone know whether or not the medium must have all
components in solution?
Thank you,
Jessica Glasser
