Pharmacia uses a plastic of their own which has a hydrophobic and a hydrophilic side.  You can 
buy this from them, they call it PAG film.  They treat the glass on the face side of the gel 
with what they call repel silane to make it hydrophobic.  They sell everything needed to pour 
Phast gels but you may be able to find the stuff elsewhere too.
