NucleoStain (National Diagnostics) is sensitive, gives nice blue bands 
(not a fluorescent stain) and it works well with RNA too.  It's a 
methylene blue based stain that you use as a post-stain.   Thiazole 
orange is an interesting fluorescent stain.  You need the right filter 
set to use it (ex/em 495/530). It can be included in the gel and running 
buffer.
