Here's one suggestion: Dip (or coat) the trays in 70% ethanol in a laminar flow hood, then let them dry overnight in the hood under UV irradiation. We used to recycle our electroporation cuvettes this way (which also could not be autoclaved), and never had any problems. Jon Stewart Department of Chemistry - University of Florida
