About acrylamide

I'm a final year biochemistry student in the University of Hong Kong.
Can anyone give me a general picture about a specific test developed 
for acrylamide known as the CEV method? Also, can anyone give me some 
information about the compound CEC, which is formed in blood and hair
as an indicator of the presence of acrylamide?
