Hi, Dont use any salt, just mix 0.75vols of isopropanol and immediately centrifuge and you get a unvisable DNA pellet (centri-hard), this is good for sequencing. The other suggestion let all the solvents (isopropanol and your DNA sample) be at room temp. this helps you in preventing the precipitation of salts.
