FACS of microbeads

Can anyone direct me to a reference that describes sorting of
fluorescently labeled microbeads via FACS?  I'm trying to find out things
like what size the beads would be and how many would comprise a reasonable
sample to sort.  Pretty basic stuff, but I don't have any experience w/
FACS.
