Does anyone have/know of good E coli strains with as many as possible of the protease genes inactivated. The protein I´m trying to express is rapidly degraded in all the strains I have tried. I would preferstrains that are Kan-s and Amp-s and therefore compatible with the Qiagen His-tag system.
