For the preparation of proteinase K, it is mentioned that proteinase K is
not required for pre-treatment, but a pre-treatment is required for
preparation of pronase to remove any DNase or RNase activity.
Is there anyone can tell me why the pre-treatment is required for pronase
but not for proteinase K?
Someone said to me that the DNase and RNase are degraded immediately right
after the addition of proteinase K. Is it true? Can someone show me citation
related to this thought?
