Best inducible mammalian expression vector

Hi,

I plan to express a somewhat toxic protein from simian immunodeficiency
virus in a lymphoid cell line. Which inducible expression system will
work best ?

- the tetracycline-controlled vectors described by Gossen and Bujard
- vectors with metallothioneine promoter + heavy metals
- vectors with MMTV LTR + glucocorticoids
- the Lacswitch system from Stratagene with LacI-mediated repression
- any other system ?
