I wish someone would re-post the original, for I'm not sure what the "exact" question was referring to, but why not crack the yeast open with a Bead Beater or similar device and then precipitate the nucleic acids from this lysate??? Hope this is pertinent and that it helps! Kiley R. Prilliman
