Protein blocking solution for DNA hybridization

The blocking reagent consists of proteolytic fragments of casein in powder form ("The DIG system user's 
guide for filter hybridization", Boehringer Mannheim). Casein is a phosphoprotein which occurs in milk 
mainly in form of micelles.
