Hydrotech vacuum pump

We are considering the Biorad Hydrotech vacuum pump to take the load 
off of our oil pump for the purpose of drying sequencing gels.  Has 
anyone tried this pump and how well does it work?  Is the time it 
takes for the Hydrotech to dry a seq. gel comparable to that of your 
previous systems and what is the ease of use/cleaning/setup?  Any 
opinions are welcome.
