Not sizing cDNA (random primed)?

I've run across the suggestion that without any size selection
of random primed cDNA, there might be problems in adapter ligation
and sucloning to cDNA libraries. I am only interested in getting
the maximum amount of sequence into libraries rather than
defining trascription units.
Any known problems with cloning unsized total cDNA from a random
primed synthesis?
