We have used Qiagen columns exclusively for the last five years for
transfection into mammalian cells, bacteria and yeast without any
problems. Our yields are consistently high and the procedure is
economical and easy. It should be noted that CsCl prepared is notoriously
difficult to sequence using the ABI Prism reagents. Another advantage for
Qiagen.
