For the Mac, try "CPrimers" by Greg Bristol & Robert Anderson, Depts 
of Medicine and Biochemistry, School of Medicine, UCLA. It's a great 
little program which dynamically analyzes primers in real time. It 
appeared briefly on the net but i cann't locate it any more, so 
perhaps youll need to talk to the people at UCLA directly
