I am planning to carry out assay of Protein Kinase C acticvity in Hela cells. I would appreciate if I can have advice about: 1. Is it necessary to purify the PKC from the membrane fraction by ion exchange chromatography prior to assay. If so, is there a mini method. 2. Can I use the non-isotopic methods from Pierce or MBL?
