BM non-radioactive probe labels?

Has anyone compared the chemo-fluorescent labelling and detection
protocol from BM to P32? We're thinking about going to the
non-radioactive method, but are hesitant about spending the money if the
method does not work as well. Over the long haul is the BM method
cheaper than it seems - the half life of P32 makes it expensive if you
only do a couple of blots a year; if the BM reagents last forever, it
would be cheaper for us in in the long run... Any experience or
opinions on this would be helpful.
Thanks in advance.
Rob
