I've also had some problems lysing cultured human primary monocytes
with 0.1% SDS. At least there was no gross "clearing" of the plastic
surface as I expected. (Anyone know if this residual material is
an exrtracellular matrix of some kind?)
Other cells lines of interest here might be THP-1 and the MonoMac line.
Any other good choices for human macorphage-like cell lines?
Any correspondence on harvesting bacteria infecting macrophage
or monocytic cell lines most appreciated.
