Cloning tandem repeats

You might want to try either the SURE strain or XL1-Blu MRF' strain
from Stratagene (800-424-5444 phone or techservices at stratagene.com).
I've had success with both of these strains with inserts (in 
pBluscript) containing 30, 48 bp repeats.
