Reuse of Ni-columns?

Hi all,
Yeah-yeah, I know that this topic has been debated before and I 
apologise for bringing it up again, but I really could use some
info on this.

I just ordered some HiTrap chelating columns from Pharmacia that,
according to them, is disposable. I'm sure that I've heard about
people reloading such material in order to reuse the column, but
how is this achieved?

Any refs, personal experience etc. would be greatly appreciated!
