Telomerase quantification

Hi there!  I am using the TRAP assay to measure telomerase activity but 
it requires the use of a phosphorimager for quantitation.  I, 
unfortunately do not have one, but am looking into buying one.  Does 
anyone have any advice, comments, or wise words of wisdom?  Is the 
Canberra Packard InstantImager better?  (I would also like to use it 
for Northern analysis as well)  I would really appreciate any help 
offered. Thanks so much.
