PhD Student Posititon
Research in the Department of Neuromorphology focuses on
regeneration and reorganisation after neural injury. Current
projects include investigation of the role of homeobox genes
during the regeneration processes. The regulation of members of
the LIM-type homeobox gene family has to be determinde in mouse
and rat with semiquantitative PCR and IHC. Studies of Islet-1
promoter and in vivo and in vitro antisense targeting shall give
an insight of regulatory cascades. We are looking for a candidate
with interests in molecular biology and with experience in
meurobiology. Applicants should be highly motivated to work in a
multidisciplinary enviroment.
