trimming polyA tails

 Hi,

 I'm looking for a reference and/or protocol for improving the
 resolution of northerns by removing the polyA tail from mRNA.
 
 I've seen this somewhere but I can't trace it. I think it
 involves use of oligo(dT) and RNaseH. I recall seeing blots 
 with sharp bands instead of the smudge resulting from 
 variable tail length.
 
 Does this ring any bells?
