Removal of PCR DNA contamination

***Does anybody know of a good way to remove DNA contamination from surfaces by
***chemical means, as opposed to UV.
Water. Clorox. HCl. DNA is water soluble, the solution to pollution....
PE says to use dilute clorox solution.
HCl will depurinate DNA and thus it should not be PCRable.
