Microwave sterilization

I think I started this thread a couple of weeks ago when I needed a 
sterile bottle to filter some YNB into. I did it dry - no other bottle 
containing water present - only the usual laboratory grade gunk from 
previous explosions coating the roof. Well, the YNB seemed to pass it's 
test in my yeast transformations - no fungi around - good number of YACs 
to boot!! If I'm desperate in the future I'll do it again for sure.
