The question was about the use of Pwo polymerase from Boehringer not
the Taq-Pfu mixtures described by Wayne Barnes. Although the FAQ list
does not have this in it, an entire column in TIBS was dedicated to
the subject and even has a reply from Wayne Barnes about some common
problems encountered with the technique. The article is available from
