YPD medium and Yeast growth

Mohammad,

There's no need to measure the pH of your YPD medium for normal
S.cerevisiae growth. The little critters grow just fine in it at 30¡C.
The recipe I use makes a solution with a pH of approximately 6.5. Here
it is.

1 liter YPD:
10g yeast extract
20g bacto-peptone
20g dextrose
1l distilled water
Autoclave.
