Here it is:

TLC on Silica Gel (e.g. Merck Silica Gel 60, for best results use HPTLC
plates and develop them in horizontal chambers (Camag, Berlin).=20
Solvent:
Methyl acetate/n-PropOH, Chloroform, Methanol, 43 mM KCl-aq. mixed
25/25/25/10/9 (vols)

Stain by dipping /sprayin in 10% sulfuric acid or
MnCl2*4H2O 3,2 g
H2O bidest. 480 ml
MeOH 480 ml
cc H2SO4 32,0 ml
and heating to 110=B0C for 15 min (watch the spot development!)
a motor driven dipping device is strongly recommended, if you want to
quantitate the PLs

detection by fluorescence of generated products lambda(ex)=3D 366 nm or UV,
lambda(em)>=3D500nm
