"clearing" cell culture inserts

How clear do you need, are you looking for optical transperancy or just
"look thru".  PET is inserts from Falcon are pretty clear. There has been
use of solvent vapors to clarify PC, though I do not enough of any
documented work in this area to justify recomending
in this sort of application.
