What's known about PolyA+ tails on mRNA of fruit ???

I know that some organisms are either deficient in the activity that 
adds the extensions, or produce only short tails.

If this is the case with fruit RNA then you may need to adjust the 
conditions for purification.

There are protocols out there (can't recall where) that describe library 
production fron total RNA
