Protein w/ no Trp quantitation: help!!!

You can try the BCA assay from Pierce.  However, since both Tris and DTT 
are contraindicated for this assay, you can TCA/deoxycholate precipitate 
the protein first. This works very well for me.  It correlates amazingly 
well with both Bradford assay and A280 estimates.  It's also about 10% 
from the value of an amino acid analysis (if you consider that method 
golden).
