Hi Does anyone know the function of tandem repeat sequences at the end of a gene, after the stem loop structure? We have found 2 sets of 8bp repeats that are not particularly AT or GC rich. Would these sequences be required for the efficient functioning of the gene? Any suggestions? Thanx Ned
