You could perhaps utilize the phenomenon that detergents interfere in some protein assays and not in others, i.e. you could measure your sample with both the Bradford assay and the Pierce BCA assay. Since the Bradford give a signal with both detergent and protein and the Pierce BCA only with protein this could work. - I have not actually tried it!!!!!! Keld.
