As to the recent discussion about QaiexII I've had very disappointing results for yields. Never get more than 20% recovery and quite often lose everything in the process. Of the small amount recovered we never had trouble with ligations. Gene clean on the other hand gives pretty good recovery but only for larger fragments. Anyone have any suggestions for improvements?
