I have tried this for use in RAPD analysis with sorghum DNA. It is
quick, fairly cheap, uses no organics, and gives high yields
compared to the starting amounts. It uses PEX. Look up Nucl Acids
Research 22(10):1917.
Others use it for arabidopsis extractions with great luck! Hope it
works,
