Tissue Culture and mucin

I am a graduate student at Virginia Tech, and I am doing a tissue 
culture experiment, however one problem with my cell line is mucin 
production.  I am looking for some enzyme that I can add to the 
media before the experiment to remove some or all of the mucin from 
the cells.  Is there a mucinase or a glcosidase that I can use that 
will work but not kill the cells?
