Help--Cultured fibroblasts come off coverslips

We're trying to culture NIH-3T3 cells on acid-washed glass coverslips, but are 
having difficulty with the fibroblast monolayers coming off the coverslips 
when we change the medium or wash the monolayers with a buffered saline 
solution.

Any suggestions on what we can do to keep these fibroblasts on the coverslip?
