FORMALIN AND DNA extraction

Hello:

We are in the process of extracting DNA from Formalin and alcohol preserved 
specimens.  Does anyone have hints on methods to get good yields of DNA from 
formalin preserved specimens?

We are currently trying only ab out a 350 bp region.
