how many bacteria in a colony

Hi!

Try this:

Pick out the whole ³average² colony, resuspend the bacteria in, say 1 ml
LB, and plate some dilutions - grow them - count them - calculate -
that¹s it.


Since I didn¹t do it, I can¹t tell you the number - sorry :-)
