Dissolving peptides

I need to dissolve substance P and (arg)- 8- vasopressin in water to 
use as ligands in  a binding assay. I understand it is necessary to 
use Oxygen free water for these peptides. I would appreciate some 
advice on the and the method of de-oxygenating the water.Also will 
the peptides stick to the sides of plastic assay tubes? Should I use 
glass ones. Any advice at all on this would be great.
