Poor RNA yield from mouse pancreas

Hi netters...

We have been trying to extract RNA from mouse pancreas, but have been 
getting extrememly small yields ~2ug from a cell conc. of about 5 x 10^6. 
We are using the Invisorb RNA I kit, and have been getting great results 
from other tissues. We think that the problem is the high RNase conc. in 
the tissue, but increasing the RNase inhibitor conc. doesn't do anything. 
If anyone has any ideas, we'd really appreciate it.
