Molecular biology software search

				Try subscribing to Bionet.software.  This newsgroup is set up specifically for 
questions such as yours (it's the most common question out there).  Yes, there are 
several packages available, but I can't recommend one as I haven't found one that suits 
my needs yet -- I'm pretty picky ;)
        Maybe we could find a few people out there that would be willing to try many of the 
shareware packages available and post a review of several of them on a web page?  I'd 
think about it if I had a web page
